Description
This is a list of seed plants (Angiosperms and gymnosperms) recorded from Senchal Mahananda Corridor.
Data Records
The data in this checklist resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 498 records.
This IPT archives the data and thus serves as the data repository. The data and resource metadata are available for download in the downloads section. The versions table lists other versions of the resource that have been made publicly available and allows tracking changes made to the resource over time.
Versions
The table below shows only published versions of the resource that are publicly accessible.

Geographic Coverage
The proposed corridor between the Senchal Wildlife Sanctuary and Mahananda Wildlife Sanctuary is about 26 km long. It is bounded in the east by the forest of Kalimpong Division along the Teesta River. A very good patch of forest belonging to a number of villagers of Turuk Khasmahal busty (small village) already exist connecting Mahaldiram forest with the Turuk extension in the corridor. The corridor is prone to landslides with settlements and forest villages in close proximity.
