This is a checklist of flora (angiosperms, gymnosperms, pteridophytes) and fauna (birds and insects) of Api Nampa Conservation Area. A total of 940 species are listed.

This dataset lists 21 species of Mistletoes compiled from literature resources as indicated in the dataset. Mistletoes constitute a polyphyletic group of flowering parasitic plants and are commonly known as “Ainjeru” or “Lisso” in Nepali. Mistletoes are entirely dependent on their hosts for water and nutrients and affect their hosts mainly by competing for limited resources.

This checklist contains a total of 143 species of medicinal plants documented from the India part of Kailash Sacred Landscape. This information has been collated from feasibility assessment report of the Kailash Sacred Landscape Conservation and Development Initiative and from IUCN websites.

The endemic species included the species that have been reported only from Nepal until now. The database has records of 43 species included in 274 herbarium specimens.

This occurrence database contains records of the mushrooms based on the herbarium specimens deposited at the Natural History Museum (NHM), Tribhuvan University Nepal. Situated on the lap of a world heritage site Swayambhu Stupa, this is the only natural history museum of Nepal with major objectives to collect, preserve and demonstrates flora, faunal, geological, and other natural specimens.
