Development Pressure Index of Nepal and Bihar part of Koshi Basin

Development Pressure Index (DPI): refers to the vulnerability due to the economic development activities in the basin. Parameters such as GDP growth, population growth, expansion of irrigated land, etc are accounted in this index.

Purpose
Using this indicator, one can easily identify which part of Koshi basin is relatively vulnerable in particularly the development pressure index. This will be helpful to design intervention to reduce development pressure induced vulnerability of the particular part of the basin.
