Description: A plot of 2*2 Km was established in Bhata which represented dry area and vegetation types inlcuded grassland, mixed forest and sal forest. Species like Butterfly, Birds, herptofauna and mammals were recorded in this plot using different method. Butterfly and Birds were recorded using transect count and point sampling. Herptofauna were identified using Pitfall traps and Large Mammals were recorded using camera trap whereas very small mammals were recorded using Sherman trap and mist net.
