Location of Snow Gauging Statios of Bhutan
The Map showing locations of Automatic Snow Station(ASS) & Manaul Snow Gauging Station. Parameters observed by ASS are Snow Depth,Sunshine Hour, Air Temperature,Relative Humidity,wind direction& Speed,Soil Humidity and Soil Temperature. Parameters are observed and sent to head office every after 15 mins via GPRS to the Head Office (NWFFWC). These data are availabe from Aug 2014. The Manual Snow Gauging Station Observes Snow depth,Snow Water Equivalent and snow incidents. These data are availabe from 2013. The parameters are observed daily. Data are observed and sent to Head Office every month by post. There are 9 Manual Snow Guaging Stations and 1 ASS in Bhutan under DHMS,MoEA
